Contraindications for ombré powder brows
- Anyone under 18 years of age
- Pregnant or nursing women
- Anyone with diabetes
- Anyone with skin diseases or irritations (such as active eczema, psoriasis, and undiagnosed rashes on the area to be treated)
- Anyone taking blood thinning medicines
- Anyone with healing disorders
- Anyone with cancer or ongoing chemotherapy
- Anyone with epilepsy (It is unsafe to undergo treatment in case of a seizure)
- Recently tanned or will be tanned within 4 weeks
- Anyone taking antibiotics
- Anyone with uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Anyone with a pacemaker or major heart problems
- HIV/Hepatitis or any other transmittable blood disease
- Allergies to dye, ink, makeup, or colors
- Anyone using accutane or steroids
PREPARATION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
- One week prior to your procedure, DO NOT: consume any blood thinners such as caffeine, alcohol, ibuprofen, aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, B6, Omega 3 - do not consume after the procedure either. It can slow down the healing process.
- Do not use Retin A skin care products close to the brow area 1 month prior to and after your procedure.
- Do not use AHA or BHA skincare products near the brow area 2 weeks prior to and after your procedure.
- Waxing should be performed no less that 5 days prior to your procedure.
- Bring along the makeup you apply and any photos that you would like to achieve.
- A medical history form will need to be completed at the time of booking
- No Facials 2 week prior to your procedure
- On the day of your appointment, avoid caffeine and exercise, and hot showers.
